La Salamandre Hotel Beauvais, Beauvais

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room I stayed in was very stylish, but it felt more shabby than post-restoration. The service, on the other hand, was very accommodating and attentive, making my stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the town center, and the dining offered was satisfactory. However, I found the facilities somewhat lacking.

My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had a perfect view of the Cathedral. The service was extremely nice and friendly, respecting our late check-in and blending old-world charm with modern comfort seamlessly. The location was perfect, offering a view of the great Cathedral and City center while being in a residential area. The dining experience was delicious, featuring a selection of traditional French delicacies. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms might need some improvement to appear more restored, but they feature a very comfy bed. The service staff, described as a Brexit tax, is extremely helpful. The location shines with a superb view of the Cathedral and the City Center, especially attractive during events like the city market. Dining could be slightly better, particularly for those with dietary restrictions.
